Full Description
Description:
After completing this course students will have the ability to accurately and completely track all OEM resources deployed during an incident/event needed for reporting, accountability, demobilization, and possible reimbursement. Students will also learn how to run the incident asset report that displays all OEM assets deployed in a given incident.

Course Curriculum Structure and Topics:
-Entering and updating information on the asset tab found in NY Responds request calls.
-How to download the incident asset report.

Target Audience:
The target audience for this course is DHSES employees who may be assigned to the State EOC to work in a logistics section role or as part of the command staff.

Prerequisites:
NY Responds (NYR) Incident Management System Training.

Recommended Prerequisite:
It is recommended that students complete the NYS Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) course before taking this training.

Cost:
There is no fee to attend. Lodging & transportation costs are the responsibility of the participant.

Completion:
Participants who attend will receive a certificate of attendance for the course in DHSES LMS.

Students will need a state agency laptop capable of connecting to wifi.

If students do not have a laptop please email the NYS OEM Training & Exercise Section (oem.training@dhses.ny.gov) so one can be provided to you for use during the class.
