Swift-Water/Flood - Rescue Technician (01-04-0051)
Full Description
This course provides basic to advanced level swift-water/flood rescue training including self-rescue in swift-water, go rescues, boat based rescues, and rope systems for swift-water rescue.  This is a hands-on training program which requires participants to spend a significant amount of time mastering water rescue skills in fast moving water. Course also includes several scenario based water rescue exercises.

Designed for: All emergency response personnel involved in water rescue emergencies

Lodging will be provided for public sector personnel.

You are eligible for lodging if your residence and o¿icial work station are more than 50 miles from the SPTC and you are public sector personnel.

Lodging is not available for federal employees or private industry participants.

You must be enrolled in the course and have received lodging confirmation from the SPTC before arriving at the Center, or

your lodging will not be covered and you will not be allowed in the class.
