Brief Description: NYS FIRE SERVICES TRAINING WEEKEND

Full Description: This conference is designed to meet the needs of the fire service in New York State. We have selected several classes that are relevant to today’s fire service. These classes have each level of the fire service in mind, whether brand new member or chief officer, there is a class for you.

Due to unforeseen circumstances at this time, only the Alarm Systems Series will be offered for this weekend.

Alarm Systems Series: Fire Alarms Systems for the Fire Service and Fire Sprinkler Systems for the Fire Service

OFPC has recently rolled out two new classes, Fire Alarms Systems for the Fire Service and Fire Sprinkler Systems for the Fire Service. This series will allow you to take both classes in one weekend and be some of the first firefighters in the state to get this training. The Fire Alarm Systems for the Fire Service class is designed to give firefighters and fire officers an overview of components of a fire alarm system as well as the operations of such systems. The Fire Sprinkler Systems for the Fire Service class will give an overview of the types of and components of fire sprinkler systems as well as the operation of such systems. Both classes will include information and strategies that will assist participants in responding to and understating their responsibilities involving both types of systems.
