Full Description: Description:
This course serves as an 8-hour block of instruction that prepares trainer-the-trainer (TTT) participants to effectively conduct an indirect delivery of Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight. It contains a review of module content, individual and class reflection, guidance on becoming a trainer, and administrative information and tasks.

Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to
- recognize the course goal, terminal and enabling learning objectives, and course schedule
- provide an overview of the module content in Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight
- successfully teach an indirect delivery of Surviving an Active Shooter: Run. Hide. Fight.
- successfully complete the administrative requirements necessary to schedule and teach an
   indirect delivery.

Prerequisites:
- You must be a US Citizen to take this course. If you are not please let us know by email for further instruction at OEM.TRAINING@DHSES.NY.GOV

- To enroll in this course, participants must be US citizens and must possess or obtain a FEMA student identification (SID) number.

Cost:
- There is no fee for the course. Food, lodging & transportation costs are the responsibility of the participant.

Completion:
- Participants, who actively participate, attend all course contact hours and pass a written test will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.
