Course Description:
The primary goal of the NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific Training Courses is to provide all-hazards competencies and behaviors for Command and General Staff and selected Unit Leader personnel who are members of an existing or developing Incident Management Team (IMT). Competencies in the training are focused around the ability of the student to assume specific position responsibilities, lead assigned personnel, communicate effectively, and to ensure the completion of assigned tasks in order to meet identified objectives for the position.  Personal qualifications to serve as members of IMT’s are designed to consider a combination of training, operational experience during exercises or actual incidents, job shadowing, field mentoring, and administrative requirements.

Target Audience:  
The target audience for this course is individuals currently or likely to assume the role of the
Finance/Administration Section Chief on an Incident Management Team.   To ensure the most appropriate target audience for this course, SOEM will review all registrations prior to acceptance to the course.

PREREQUISITES:
Required: ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 300, ICS 400, IS 700 and IS 800.

Prerequisites:
All participants must have a FEMA Student Identification (FEMA SID) number. Students can search for their existing/create a new FEMA SID at: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/.

Students need to complete the following FEMA independent study courses before they can be enrolled into this course:
-IS-100
-IS-200
-IS-700
-IS-800

Students also need to complete before they will be enrolled into this course:
-Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents (I-300)
-Advanced Incident Command System for Complex Incidents (I-400)

Lodging:
Lodging will be provided on the nights of XXXXXXXXXXXXX for public sector personnel whose residence and official work station are more than 50 miles from the SPTC.
Lodging is not available for federal employees or private industry participants. You must be enrolled in the course and have received lodging confirmation from the SPTC before arriving at the Center, or your lodging will not be covered, and you will not be allowed in the class.

Cost:
There is NO FEE for this course. Lunch will be provided. Travel and all other meals are the responsibility of the course participant.

Course Completion Requirements: It is mandatory that the participant complete all 24 hours of this course to receive full credit. Anything less will result in the participant’s need to re-register for another course and start from the beginning.
