Course Description:
The course covers the process of coordinating resources of several different partner agencies and private sector companies to detect, respond to, and clear traffic incidents as quickly as possible to reduce the impacts of incidents on safety and congestion. Protecting the safety of responders and motorists, how to make a quick response, and effective communications at traffic incident scenes are highlighted.

Course Objectives:
Responders acquire a common set of core competencies for traffic incident management.

Target Audience:
All Emergency Response Personnel, Highway, Towing, and Traffic Management Professionals.

Cost:
There is no fee for the course. Food, lodging & transportation costs are the responsibility of the participant.

Course Completion Requirements:
Participants who actively participate and attend all course contact hours will receive a Certificate of Participation for the course.
