Brief Description: The NYS Incident Management Team is holding its semi-annual training & development meeting

Full Description: THIS EVENT IS FOR MEMBERS OF THE NYS INCIDENT MANAGEMENT TEAM ONLY.

*Registration Deadline: April 30th, 2024*

Course Description:
The New York State Incident Management Team will hold its semi-annual training & development meeting where members will participate in functional training & exercise scenarios. This training will focus on a wide variety of topics including:
• Qualification and Credentialing
• Team Building Exercises
• Leadership Workshops
• Testing & Exercising of Team Equipment
• Lessons Learned from Previous Deployments
• Team Policies and Procedures

Registration Process:
All student registrations will be reviewed by the SPTC with approvals sent to students NO LATER THAN 2 weeks prior to the start of the class. Registration does not guarantee a seat in the class. If you are accepted into this course, you will receive a confirmation email from the Training Center.

Cost:
There is NO FEE for this course. Lunch will be provided on May 15th only. Travel and all other meals are the responsibility of the course participant.

Lodging:
Lodging will be provided on the nights of May 14th and May 15th, 2024. You are eligible for lodging if your residence and official work station are more than 50 miles from the training center and you are a state or local agency employee from New York. You must request lodging at the time of training registration. If approved for lodging, you will receive an email with further instructions. Students should not reserve a room without receiving proper approval from the SPTC first.
